Atlanta's finest rappers
This album deserves more then 5 stars. I have had this album ever since the first day it came out here. I sick of some of these rappers out of NY (such as Puff Daddy, Mase..) and New Orleans (Master P..blEh), and its time Atlanta and the rest of the Southwest has a good representative in this game. The beats are tyte, the lyrics will win you over. Best tracks are "They Don't Dance No Mo'", "Inshallah", "Just About Over" and "Ghetto-ology". In fact, every track should be up there, they are no bad tracks!Cee-lo seems to lead this group on this album with songs like "Inshallah", "Just About Over" and "The Damn". Other rappers featured are Coolbreeze, Witchdoctor, and OUTKAST! Outkast and Goodie tear it up in Black Ice. BUY THIS!!!

FOR ALL YA'LL THAT DON'T KNOW THE SOUTH IS ON A RAISE SO NORTH EAST AND WEST YOU BETTER SIT UP AND PAY ATTENTION CUZ SCHOOL IS IN ITS ALL ABOUT THE FILTHY NASTY DIRTY ROTTEN SOUTH WHERE EVERYBODY GOT GOLD IN THEY MOUTH YOU WELCOME TO COME YOU WELCOME STAY BUT IF YOU DISRESPECT WE WILL MAKE YO AZZ FLY AWAY MAN WIT LYRICS LIKE THAT GOODIE MOB IS REPRESENTING TO THE FULLEST PLUS TRACKS LIKE BEAUTIFUL BLACK SKIN, I REFUSE LIMITATIONS, DON'T DANCE NO MO, STILL STANDING AND FLY AWAY THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS ALL GRAVY AS WE SAY IN THE SOUTH.
Goodie Mob's Still Standing
Though not as good as Soul Food, Goodie Mob's Still Standing is a great follow up album. My favorite songs are They Don't Don't Dance No Mo, Black Ice, and Still Standing. This is a great album to have if you already own Soul Food.
One of the Best Hip-Hop Albums Of All TIme!!!!!!!!
One of the most underrated albums in the last 10 years in HIP HOP. Arista Records seriously dropped the ball with this one. Had it been handled the right way, these boys would still be funking as a cohesive unit today. This is an amazing record that is right up there with the great Hip Hop Classics. Before Kanye West there was Goodie Mob. Its ironic, if this album came out now it would be a smash. Slum Village, Black Eyed Peas etc. are enjoying success when at one time they were like Goodie Mob on the margins of HIP HOP. Its crazy this album is like Aquemini's Brother ya feel me? Anyway its a classic and it was the soundtrack to my life in 1998. It means so much to me because it was the year my MOM died and this record gave me the power to go on. "Still Standing, Unscathed pain is for suckers to feel...." It actually made me cry sometimes because it echoed all my feelings as a Black Man in this country. I pray that these brothers will get back together and change HIP HOP again.....
Georgia's Finest
I say Georgia's Finest because Goodie Mob always gives you a solid album with lyrics that make you think and they don't change their style for anyone. If you are a Goodie Mob fan, this is a must have because it has so many great tracks on here, like, Black Ice, The Damn, Fly Away, They Don't Dance No Mo, Beautiful Skin, and Still Standing. If you want some classic hip-hop with some lyrics with meaning then pick up this album. Also go check out some of the solo albums from Cee-lo and Big Gipp.
